The Novel

Sun Machines is released chapter by chapter as it's written. Ten chapters, set in Zürich between October and late November. Third person limited, past tense, through the eyes of Lena Halter.

First chapter coming soon.

Structure

Ten chapters tracking one investigation across eight weeks. Each chapter carries a sensory wrongness — a detail that doesn't fit, registered by the body before the mind can explain it away. The wrongness deepens from sight to temperature to smell to touch to full-body immersion.

Four relationship threads weave through: Dario (obligation), Uschi (belonging), Amstein (complicity), Noah (cost). None resolve cleanly. This isn't that kind of story.
